Rick Whitney is the Managing Director in Detroit at Inspire11. He spends his days guiding our market leaders and driving the strategy and tactics around market growth, client delivery, talent acquisition, and community impact.

Rick has over 25 years of global leadership experience in consulting services, where he has built high-performing teams, delivered heightened value and outcomes for clients across industries, and thrived in the face of change and uncertainty. His ability to create solutions by applying broad consulting experiences across technology, data, business, and people has enabled him to drive change in complex environments.

What drives Rick’s work in consulting is analytical thinking, working collaboratively with people, and seeing positive change towards a grand goal. Rick has a passion for inspiring and empowering people to apply their unique capabilities to create their own visions.

Outside of being Inspire11’s Managing Director, Rick loves spending time with his wife of 29 years, who he met as high school freshmen, his three kids, two dogs, and many friends.  He’s an avid gardener and runner, and loves listening to podcasts about society, history, and science and reading about the subjects as well.
