011 Hackathon: Reimagining work with AI agents
A 48-hour experiment in thinking differently with AI.
Some ideas start small. Others reshape how we work.
0011 was a space for the latter – a 48-hour internal hackathon where Inspire11 consultants, engineers, and designers explored what happens when AI agents become teammates, not tools.
Across offices and time zones, teams spent two days building agentic systems that remove the manual, accelerate the meaningful, and scale the value we deliver to clients.
The goal wasn’t to talk about innovation.
It was to see what innovation looks like when it becomes habit.
The Challenge
Each team was asked one question. →
No prescribed frameworks. No fixed outcomes. Just a shared challenge to design ways of working that are smarter, faster, and more connected.
How can AI transform the way we deliver without replacing what makes it human?
Each prototype was evaluated across four dimensions:
- Innovation: Originality and boldness of the idea.
- Execution: Design quality, functionality, and completeness within the 48-hour sprint.
- Impact: The potential to meaningfully improve how Inspire11 operates or delivers client value.
- Presentation: The clarity, narrative, and storytelling that brought each idea to life.
Over two days, the result was a set of intelligent prototypes; each showing how agentic AI can move beyond concept into something tangible, applicable, and transformative.
As the final demos streamed live across offices, the full spectrum of creativity was on display, from delivery automation to proposal intelligence to real-time knowledge retrieval.
What stood out most wasn’t the technology itself, but the purpose and empathy behind each build.
The Winner: StartSmart
Get going, smarter.
Every project begins the same way: kickoff decks, trackers, templates, folders. Hours of setup before strategy even starts. StartSmart reimagines that first step.
Built by a cross-functional team using GPT-4 Turbo, LangGraph, React, and Python, StartSmart reads Statements of Work (SOWs) and automatically generates a full project foundation; complete with kickoff materials, code structures, and documentation, all in minutes.
The outcome:
- 20+ hours saved per project
- Consistent alignment between SOW and delivery
- 15,000+ hours reinvested annually into high-value client work
By automating repetitive tasks and standardizing essential processes, StartSmart transforms how teams begin, bringing precision, speed, and consistency to every project launch.
“Imagine if every engagement artifact, status reports, budgets, summaries, updated itself. Consultants could focus on insight, not input.”
~ Dmitri Christodoulakis
That idea earned StartSmart top recognition at 0011 and opened the door to operational use within Inspire11.
Innovating across teams.
While StartSmart took top honors, the hackathon showcased seven prototypes that reimagined how agentic AI can transform delivery, collaboration, and client value.
Insp-Hire11 is an AI recruiting assistant that streamlines candidate ranking and summaries; helping hiring teams bring the right talent to projects faster and cut time-to-hire by 40%.
Q Files is an intelligent knowledge hub that unifies Inspire11’s work, client data, and market insights; giving consultants a 360° view to craft more relevant, data-driven strategies.
PrinciPAL is an AI proposal generator that transforms pre-proposal inputs into polished deliverables; accelerating speed-to-client and freeing teams to focus on tailored solutions.
InsAIght is a proposal acceleration agent that finds the right case studies and best practices in seconds; elevating the quality, precision, and value of client proposals.
Storyte11er is an AI communication assistant that turns scattered Slack, email, and SharePoint threads into cohesive client stories; clarifying goals and strengthening engagement.
MoatBoat is an AI research assistant that completes market scans in minutes; arming consultants with insights that power faster, smarter recommendations.
Each prototype shared a common thread—AI not as automation, but as augmentation. Tools that don’t replace thinking; they expand it.
Looking ahead
0011 wasn’t just a competition. It was a signal; proof that AI agents can become the silent systems that elevate craftsmanship, amplify intelligence, and help people do their best work faster.
“The energy, creativity, and craftsmanship that came out of 0011 was incredible,” one participant reflected. “This wasn’t just an experiment; it was a preview of how we’ll work next.”
As these MVPs evolve, their ideas will ripple into how Inspire11 approaches delivery, design, and innovation; turning what began as a hackathon into the blueprint for what comes next.
